The Fair of Shoes, Leather and Leather Goods BTS is coming back to fashion fair complex as a separate event! Autumn edition of the BTS will be held simultanously with three big fashion events: Exhibition of Clothing and Accessories Next Season, Fast Fashion Exhibition and Exhibition of Lingerie and Beach Fashion Body Style. From August, 31^st to September, 2^nd Poznań will be an arena of recent trends, not only in fashion and lingerie but also in leather industry. Participants of the fashion fair will be able to take advantage of synergy and contract for both fashion collections including lingerie and latest lines of shoes at the same time.

During the upcoming NEXT SEASON and the BODY STYLE as well as the Fair of Shoes, Leather and Leather Goods BTS collections for the season spring-summer 2011 will be presented. The FAST FASHION Exhibition will be an opportunity to supplement current collections for the season autumn-winter 2010/2011.

From January 2010 MTP provides wireless Internet service that enables access to Wi-Fi Internet. The  Wi-Fi Internet access is offered to participants of the fairs and participants of other events organized by  Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie as well as to tenants of the fair premises who use the premises to organize their own events.
Wireless Internet access is a paid service and the access codes are sold at Biuro Organizacji Targów (Fair Organization Office i.e. BOT)  located in pavilion 3, 5 and 7 as well as at all ticket offices.
Wireless Internet service is available within the whole MTP area.

Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie has launched its online visitor centre at www.mtp24.pl. The intended users of the new online service are visitors planning to take part in any event organized at MTP's grounds.

The benefits of the new platform include faster registration at selected events, e-ticket purchase functionality or online application facility involving completion and printout of a registration survey to allow ticket purchase at ticket offices on MTP's grounds.

A one-off registration and selection of a unique password are required to use the service. Each registered user may log in as many times as needed and apply for participation in any number of selected events. Users may also review their transaction records and print out duplicates of any issued documents.

The Contact tab of our web page now carries small black-and-white images with encoded data. These are photocodes (matrix 2D barcodes). This is an innovative tool that allows the user to download contact data from our web page straight onto the user's mobile phone. All you need is a camera phone, along with special software. Just take a photo of the code and add the decoded data to a new contact.

We have expanded the offer of exhibition services at the INTERMASZ 2010 International Trade Fair of Textile, Clothes and Shoe Making Machines for you. Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie has been named winner of the "Well-Perceived Company" competition organized by Business Centre Club.

The competition, organized by the Business Centre Club, aims to find and award companies, which are perceived as most socially responsible in a given region. It is part of the "CSR as a tool of building a positive corporate image" project run all over Poland by BCC in partnership with the Trade Union Forum and the Academy for the Development of Philanthropy in Poland.

The competition promotes companies known in their regions for socially responsible business and for promotion of knowledge about good CSR practices. In each of the 16 regions in Poland one company was selected, which is positively perceived in its region as a socially responsible company. Each of the laureates will be presented as good practice at a regional conference organized as part of the project.

In Wielkopolska a "Well-Perceived Company" was selected on 27 October 2009.

Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie received the title of the Ambassador of Polish Economy in a competition held under the honorary auspices of Mr. Radosław Sikorski, Minister of Foreign Affairs. The winners will receive diplomas from the Minister in the Palace of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Warsaw on 2 June.

The Jury of the Ambassador of Polish Economy Competition selected winners in four categories: Exporter, Partner to Foreign Companies, European Brand, Creator of the 21st Century Solutions. Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie received the title in the European Brand category for promoting the Polish brand on international markets.

The competition is to strengthen the image of entrepreneurs and to promote them by granting awards for the best examples of good business practices in international relations. The Ambassador of Polish Economy is also to support the promotion of Poland and Polish entrepreneurs on international markets and serve to strengthen cooperation between entrepreneurs and representatives of Polish foreign institutions responsible for promoting Poland and Polish economy. The winners will be especially promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the competition organiser - Business Center Club.

Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie is the leader of the Polish exhibition industry. It has an almost 50% market share in the Polish trade fair market and it is the second largest trade fair organiser in Central Eastern Europe. It organises almost 80 specialist trade fairs in Poland and presentations of Polish companies at 50 leading exhibitions abroad. MTP's business activity also includes organisation of conferences, congresses, sports and culture events. There are more than 1,000 of such events held every year on the grounds of Poland's largest and most modern Poznań Congress Centre.

Before taking its decision, the competition Jury most certainly considered the excellent organisation of the logistic side of the COP14 climate conference by MTP. This event was held on the grounds of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie in December 2008.

Once again The Poznan International Fair (pol. Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie; MTP) is on the first place among Polish exhibition organisers - results from the statistic report on the Polish trade fair market in 2008, which was published by the Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry (pol. Polska Izba Przemysłu Targowego; PIPT).

In nine out of ten ratings carried out within the framework of PIPT report Poznan International Fair reached the position of the unquestionable leader. It beat its competitors with respect to the total fair area rented during 2008 as well as to the number of exhibitors and visitors.

Considering the total fair area, the MTP's shares in the market amounted to nearly 50% (the rise of more than 2% in relation to 2007). Also the number of its exhibitors and visitors grew up. Trade fair events organised in 2008 on the grounds of the Poznań fair were attended by more than 12 000 exhibitors and over 340 000 visitors, which is respectively nearly 39% and over 32% shares in the whole Polish trade fair market. What is more, in events organised by Poznan International Fair took part over 52% of 5460 foreign exhibitors.

In the specification of the Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry there was also included the rating with reference to the number of exhibitors in particular events. Twelve out of twenty positions of the biggest Polish fairs fell to Poznan International Fair. First two places were occupied respectively by International Construction Fair - BUDMA with the impressive number of 1250 exhibitors and ITM fairs - Innovations - Technologies - Machines Poland, which may boast of the presence of nearly 1000 exhibitors. Also the 14th Congress of Dental Teams - CEDE organised by the Exactus company is on the list of the fairs' giants that this year will take place on the grounds of Poznań International Fair. 

The report published by the Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry proves that the position of The Poznań International Fair is strengthening year to year - says Przemysław Trawa, Chairman of the MTP Board - Our last year's results are much better than those achieved in 2007. We have noted the highest increase on the Polish market with reference to the fair area rented as well as the number of visitors. In response to the constantly growing market expectations, we are still developing ourselves by widening our offer and gaining the trust of new clients.   

In spite of the ongoing crisis, the number of events organised by The Poznan International Fair in 2009 will not decrease in comparison to the last year. The period of economic slowdown appears to be a good time for MTP to launch new brands. One of them is Poznan Media Expo which for the first time took place in the end of February and almost immediately received very positive opinions of exhibitors.

The Poznan International Fair (MTP) is the leader of the fair industry in Poland.
